Cliveden House is a venue that takes your breath away. I remember the first time I arrived here, heading towards the incredible frontage of this exceptional hotel, and getting an impression of just how grand; how elegant it is. The reception area presents a grand welcome of huge windows. wood panelled walls and luxurious furnishings (as well as the odd set of knight’s armour).
There is no doubt at any stage that you are in an incredible building, rich with history.
Despite being taken to many National Trust properties (Cliveden was managed by the trust for many years) around the country in my childhood, I’m sure that my first visit to Cliveden House was for a wedding. If the entrance driveway, first view of the building, and reception area do not cause your to drop enough, then the views from the back certainly do. With expansive sweeping views including a wide meander of the Thames, it is simply staggering.
For a wedding, it cannot get much more opulent and beautiful than this. The accommodation rooms are large and beautifully decorated, as are the reception rooms downstairs.
The dinner rooms offer a fine dining experience that is beyond reproach. After enjoying a beautiful sunset, the candlelit tables present an unequalled environment within which to celebrate your wedding meal with friends and family.
Even for a verbose photographer like me, I struggle to find enough words to do it justice. One of the finest luxury hotels in the world. A stunning venue.
The photos are amazing. Everything we could have wanted and more. You are brilliant. Thank you so so much!
Andy fully understood our vision, he created an epic memory of our wedding day. The images are simply stunning.
A UK photographer whose work is the most ideal version of wedding photojournalism you can imagine.
