Sunbeam Studios Wedding
When Fernanda & Rick were planning the English element of their Anglo-Brazilian wedding, every supplier had some link to them personally either through friends, family or other contacts. Every supplier except the photographer (or so they thought). It was only after the booking came in via my website that I recognised Rick's email address from a few years earlier. After a couple of questions, we realised that we had met in Kenya 8 years earlier and spent a couple of weeks on a beach kitesurfing! As they say, small world.
The wedding was to take place at Sunbeam Studios in Kensington, London. One of the premier photographic studios in the capital, it is also used for TV and film production. As a Grade II listed building, it has an interesting history and real roots that go back to when it was built as the first car dealership in the country for Talbot Sunbeam motors. It is an incredible architectural and creative space. With an alternative vibe to traditional venues and a superb team to make everything happen it is the perfect blank canvas for wedding celebrations.
I loved producing the photography for Rick & Fernanda and the fact we had the previous connection made it feel even more personal. A stunning bride, dapper groom, incredible venue and guests all combined to make this gorgeous London wedding.
