Joanna & Howard's wedding at Silchester House

From one season to another, the last wedding I posted was in the depths of winter, and this one is way back at the start of summer. I resolved to try and catch up on blog posts and this is how it's likely to happen: all over the place! The only way to feature as many as possible, will be to keep chat to a minimum and let the photos tell the story. I'll try, but given how much I like to talk about my couple's weddings, it might not always go to plan. Wedding commissions often follow a strange pattern. I can be travelling across the country for different weddings in a single weekend sometimes, and on other occasions spend several days or weekends in the same area. That was the case here at Silchester House, as I'd been just a few miles away the week before. What made it even more coincidental, was that one of the bridesmaids from the previous wedding was a guest this week. That doesn't happen often!

Silchester House is run by Bijou, and dedicated to weddings. Everything about the management and staffing is geared to make sure eveyrthing runs as smoothly as possible. This makes such a difference to everyone involved, but most importanly making sure that couples can relax and enjoy the time with their guests and friends, without having to be concerned over the logistics of the day.

As you will see from the images, it was very windy when we were at the pretty church of St Mary the Virgin, just down the road from Silchester House. Quite challenging for the confetti throwers!

I must make special mention of Howard's two best men who gave him (and several other attendees of the Las Vegas stag do) a spectacular ribbing. Some of the captured images of their slideshow are definitely not suitable for public display here, but it was all in good spirits and well received.
